About us
Radiozeit brings together media, technology and business expertise built over many years at the intersection of content, engineering and commercial strategy. We develop our solutions in close collaboration with the broadcasters, sales teams and media organisations that use them.
Radiozeit is an AI media-intelligence company based in Potsdam-Babelsberg. We help broadcasters, media companies and regulators make radio, television and podcast content accessible, searchable and measurable.
The company grew out of mixd.tv, where we spent many years turning complex television content into structured metadata. We saw that radio presented a different challenge: once something had been broadcast, it was often difficult to find, analyse or reuse.
Our first answer was Read-Along Radio, a patented technology that synchronises live audio with AI-generated transcripts and translations. The concept was developed with support from the Medieninnovationszentrum Babelsberg, part of the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg. Selected AI components were later trained in collaboration with Fraunhofer IDMT.
We quickly realised that the technology could do much more than improve accessibility. Today, the Radiozeit platform monitors and analyses radio, TV and podcast content at scale. It detects advertisements, sponsorships and live reads, transcribes broadcasts, monitors streams and transforms programme content into structured, searchable data.
Broadcasters and media sales teams use Radiozeit to understand what was aired, compare programmes and identify commercial and editorial trends. Media regulators use our technology for content monitoring and programme analysis, including through our work with the Bayerische Landeszentrale für neue Medien.
As Radiozeit moved from research and prototypes to commercial products, Robert Förster joined as a strategic partner, strengthening our focus on customers, sales and scalable solutions for the media industry.
Today, we are taking the next step: from analysing what has already aired to helping radio stations decide what should air next. Together with experienced radio consultant Tim Torno of Keep It Up, we are developing AI-supported strategy and aircheck tools that combine comprehensive programme data with human expertise.
Radiozeit began by making radio readable. Today, we make everything on air accessible, searchable, measurable and strategically useful.

Kristian combines entrepreneurial spirit with technical depth. As the founder of mixd.tv, he has developed his start-up from a B2C approach to a successful B2B SaaS model and worked with media companies to show how metadata can build bridges between the digital world and traditional television.
His focus is on developing stable structures and scalable systems from strong ideas so that innovations do not remain in the laboratory but have a real impact.

Robert has been at home in the media industry for over 20 years - and has always worked at the interface of content, technology and business. From program management to agency consultant and start-up founder to setting up TOGGO Radio at RTL Germany, for which he and his team won the German Radio Award twice.
Today, he is the person at Radiozeit who turns ideas into strategies and ensures that innovations reach customers. His focus is on transforming complex ideas into solutions that deliver lasting value.

A founder himself, Petros Theocharous combines 18 years of international software engineering experience with a passion for turning technology into real-world impact. He worked across London, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, and Greece with organizations like Goldman Sachs, EU agencies, Deichmann, and multiple startups.
His focus is on transforming complex ideas into solutions that deliver lasting value.
